Study Overview
This ongoing project was established in 2000 through a partnership with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) to store and manage data on the state's public schools, students and teachers. The NCERDC is a unique portal to an immense store of data from the NCDPI and the National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES). NCERDC includes student-level data (Advanced Placement, Course Membership, Demographics, Dropouts, EOG tests, EOC tests, exceptionality, GPA, graduates, growth, masterbuild, offense-consequence, retention, SAT, school exit and transcripts), teacher data (absence, license area, licensure-salary, licensure-education, national board certification, praxis test), classroom data from the Student Activity Report, school level data (ABC accountability, attendance, membership, school report card, public school universe), and district data (community index, discipline, district report card, dropout rate, high school graduates, juvenile justice databook, LEA finance, legally reportable offenses, LEA universe, per pupil expenditures, personnel demographics, salary supplements).
